David M Moore- President and CEO



David Moore is the President and founder of Direct Response Concepts, Inc., a Charlotte, NC Technology Company that focused on Enterprise Mobile Application Platform Development.

In addition, David currently holds several boards of director and advisor positions at Cerium Capital, Wed3-The Angel Forum of Charlotte, Charlotte Regional Technology Executive Council (CRTEC), Charlotte Chamber of Commerce, and the Entrepreneur Leadership Circle at the McColl School of Business.
Previously, David was a founder and President of Charlotte Media Group. During his tenure with CMG, David started City Rewards Network, which soon became one of the largest local Internet coupon platforms in the United States with offices in 20 states via a licensing program.
David’s experience is frequently featured in the Charlotte Business Journal as well as other media as a subject matter expert. He has an MBA from the McColl School of Business at Queens University in Charlotte NC. 

 

Ali Naveed- Vice President of Product Development

 

Ali  Naveed has ten years of software engineering experience with a focus on web services, PHP, MYSQL, XML, JAVA,C, C++, Visual Basic, and ASP.

Ali has a Bachelor of Science with a Major in Information Technology , and graduated with Honors from Preston University in University Town Peshawar City, Pakistan.

Previously, Ali was a Senior Software Engineer with Direct Response Concepts, and was in charge of product development for web and iPhone applications that are currently deployed on thousands of mobile devices.

 

 

J. Paul Solitario –Board Member



Paul Solitario has over twenty-five years of experience in all aspects of corporate banking, corporate finance, entrepreneurship and wealth management services.

Prior to Cerium Capital, Paul was a Managing Partner at Tobin Solitario Investment Banking Group and Senior Vice President in the Private Client Group at First Citizens Bank.  From 1995 to 2001, Paul served as a Vice President in First Union Capital Market’s Healthcare Finance Group and from 1987 to 1995 Paul was a founding member of First Union’s Private Banking Group. In addition to Paul’s corporate finance experience that includes originating exclusive sale side engagements, private placements, high yield debt, public finance, asset-based lending, syndicated finance, and bank debt; Paul has extensive experience in working with entrepreneurs to develop operational, growth and exit strategies for their businesses.

Paul has run his own company, PPN Wireless, which was a marketing and market research technology venture that provided services to the pharmaceutical and medical device industry.  Paul also served as the interim treasurer for MedCath, Inc., a $500mm specialty hospital company.Paul is also an advisor to and on the board of Direct Response Concepts, Inc., a leading software development firm in Charlotte.

Paul earned his BS in Economics from The College of William and Mary with an emphasis in International Money and Banking. Paul holds the Series 24, 7, 66 and 63 securities license designations from FINRA.  Paul is also the Founder and President of both the Charlotte Regional Technology Executives Council and Wed3--The Angel Forum of Charlotte and he is also a member of the Association for Corporate Growth and the Entrepreneurial Leadership Circle at the McColl School of Business.



Rajeev Kulkarni-Board Member



As an experienced entrepreneur and executive, Rajeev Kulkarni provides leadership in the areas of entrepreneurship, strategic marketing and hi-tech engineering.

As the VP of Global Engineering, Rajeev currently leads the global R&D team at 3D Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: TDSC) – a high-tech company that designs, develops, and markets three-dimensional 3D Printers that enable physical objects to be printed directly without the need of manufacturing. Rajeev holds multiple US and international patents that helped grow the 3D printing technology. 
Prior to this role, as the Director of Market Intelligence and as a Product Manager at 3D Systems, Rajeev led teams to develop structured systems to garner and analyze competitive, customer, product intelligence; formulate product, pricing, customer and new business strategies.

As an Angel Investor, he regularly invests in early-stage, high-growth start-ups. While he does so independently, he is also the co-chair Charlotte Angels, an executive board member of the Inception Micro Angel Fund in Charlotte and as an executive board member of Wed3, Inc-The Angel Forum of Charlotte.  Rajeev also serves on the Advisory Board of both the William Lee College of Engineering and the College of Mechanical Engineering at UNCC; the Board of Directors at the Ben Craig Center. He was also the recipient of the 2009 “40-Under-40” award by the Charlotte Business Journal.

Prior to moving to the Charlotte region, as the founder and CEO of PLANexec, Los Angeles, CA, Rajeev has guided several start-ups to transition from the idea stage up to being funded for growth. His firm developed entire business plans and formulated all the key strategies for ventures in the biomedical, aerospace, entertainment, online industries and helped the firms raise a cumulative of 20+ million in venture capital.

Rajeev holds an Engineering bachelor degree from University of Pune, India, along with an honors diploma in Computer Science Management from National Institute of Information Technology, India. He also has a Master of Science degree in Engineering from University of Florida, Gainesville and an MBA in ‘Entrepreneurship and Marketing’ from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, Los Angeles
